Story : Micheal Velayudham (Pawan Kalyan) is a chef in South African city Capetown. He is an easy going chap who flirts with girls and makes the most of his affairs. His ambition is to go to US and work in Newyork for a stockbroking company.
He falls in love with one of his acquaintance Meera Shastri(Trisha) an art restoration professional in Cape town. After an year of having an affair with her, he decides to break up as she has to move to India for work. He thinks long distance relationships don't work and hence they agree for a mutual breakup. In Cape town, Micheal meets Senapathi(Paresh Rawal) the owner of a restaurant who narrates the love story of his friend Arjun Palwai(Pawan) with Vasumati(Kriti) which had happened 30 years ago.
Meanwhile, after Meera moves to India, Micheal fails to connect with any other girl. To prove a point to her that he moved on, he 'falls' in love with a blond girl Michelle. He comes to India with some pretext and meets Meera. However, Meera is proposed by her family friend Sudheer(Sonu Sood) who is a politician. She too agrees to marry Sudheer only to prove a point to Micheal that she moved on in her life. Micheal who is frustrated that Meera married Sudheer, gets desperate and finds his dream job in US. Despite winning his job, he still feels the void due to Meera's absence in his life.
The rest of the story is on how Michael corrects his errors and how Arjun Palwai's story makes an impact on his decisions.
Analysis : Pawan looks handsome with cool costumes and dances well in Oho Bastee Dorasani song. Chiguru Boniya is foot tapping number shot on a carefree attitude Michael Velayudham’s character. Aale Baale song is used after Pawan-Trisha breakup and meet again.
Pawan imitates dharmendra’s dancing style in Vayyarala Jabilli song in flashback. Another song in flashback, Sri Ganga is well choreographed and shot and it reminds of Bham Bham Bole from INDRA. Gelupu Talupule song is well shot and Pawan’s costumes and expressions standout here.
Cinematography, Choreography and Costumes are highlight of this movie. Trivikram’s punch dialogues are seen initially but they’re missing as the movie progresses.
Ammayilu sandhu daatitene dorakatledu, inka desam daatite dorikutaara ? anduke breakup ayyaa.. type of dialogues generate good response in first half.
First half lip lock scene between Pawan and Trisha in car, and again towards climax are well shot and are well received by crowds.
Story moves slower in flashback scenes and sometimes director seems to have lost grip over screenplay during second half, but climax is strong enough to generate good talk after the movie.
Spot dubbing doesn’t have good quality and they should have avoided it.
Comedy scenes are not upto the mark and Jayanth C Paranji, Trisha and Kriti are minuses of this movie.
Trisha looks okay but is a mismatch to romance Pawan on screen.
Kriti was not given scope for much performance.
But Pawan’s powerful presence dominates all these minor flaws.
Overall, a definite entertainer and must watch if you are a pawan fan or in a relation or trying to be..
